McRae Statement on the Passing of William D. Mounger

Mississippi State Treasurer David McRae today issued the following statement upon the passing of William D. Mounger:

“A job creator, philanthropist, and architect of the modern Republican Party in Mississippi, Billy Mounger will long be remembered by what he built as well as how he built it. He adhered to his conservative principles, acted out of patriotic duty, and tirelessly worked to innovate and invent tools that would ensure an even brighter tomorrow. Katie and I extend our deepest sympathies to Jan and their family. Billy will be truly missed.”
